As a growing, family-run business, we’re looking for an organized and proactive Administrator to support our operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning at our head office.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrator, you will:
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including operations, sales, and accounts.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of equipment hires, deliveries, and collections.
- Process customer invoices and purchase orders promptly and accurately.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing documentation.
- Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing professional and friendly assistance.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all company documents and records.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient communication and problem-solving.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents as required.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Familiarity with the construction or plant hire industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
